History of Our Coffee Business - Timpla Pinas
Our coffee business was established in October 2021 with simple goals: to provide readily ground coffee to coffee enthusiasts, and to promote Philippine's Batangas coffee. From the very beginning, we received overwhelming support and gained a loyal customer base. Initially, our store catered primarily to relatives and friends who appreciated the quality and taste of our coffee.
As a coffee enthusiast and a Filipino teacher herself, the owner has decided to bring her interest to business and share the wonders of drip coffee and Baybayin to everyone. Not only that it is convenient, Batangas coffee is delicious it will make you a barista yourself. In the old logo of Timpla Pinas, you would notice a unique set of characters called Baybayin (the pre-Spanish script of the Filipinos, most commonly used within the Katagalugan) which translates to the name of the coffee store. This has caught the eye of not only the coffee lovers, but patriots, too.
As word spread about our exceptional products, we started receiving nationwide orders through the popular e-commerce platform, Shopee. This expansion allowed us to reach a wider audience and establish our brand in the market. Our commitment to delivering high-quality coffee and exceptional customer service played a significant role in our success.
However, in 2022, the owner fell ill and temporarily deactivated the store. This setback was a challenging time for our business and loyal customers. Despite the difficulties, we remained determined to overcome this obstacle and come back stronger.
In 2023, we relaunched our coffee business with a fresh look, revamped logo, and renewed branding focus. We refined our strategies and introduced new methods to ensure our coffee was fresher and more delicious than before.
To improve accessibility, we launched our own website, allowing customers to conveniently place orders and make payments using credit cards or popular methods like GCash, Maya, and Grab. This expansion served a broader customer base and provided a hassle-free shopping experience.
In addition, we registered our business with the Department of Trade and Industry under the name Beanybini Coffee Store. We're retaining the trade name Timpla Pinas as we have been known to this brand, while we continue promoting Batangas coffee and inviting fellow Filipinos to brew their every day drink with us.
Our commitment to quality remained unwavering, and we aimed to exceed customer expectations. We invested in state-of-the-art equipment, sourced the finest coffee beans worldwide, and implemented rigorous quality control measures to ensure every cup delivered the perfect taste and aroma.
Since then, we have continuously enhanced our offerings, striving to provide an excellent coffee experience to all customers. We explore new partnerships, expand our reach, and improve our products and services.
As we move forward, we are grateful for the support from our customers, old and new.
